Miniature Dachshunds - they may be small, but they don't know it! Located in the backwoods of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Hidden Haven has been producing these heartwarming little wieners for over 30 years!

It all start over 30 years ago with a smooth brindle dachshund named Fritz...
My mother, Roberta LaCosse, was the founder of Hidden Haven's.
She worked hard to preserve the breed standard and produce quality dogs, teaching me everything she knew along the way. Since being raised with dachshunds my whole life it wasn't hard to love the breed but as I got older my passion for them grew.
when I was 16 years old my mom wanted to retire from breeding and we decided I would take on ownership of Hidden Haven's with her as a co-owner to help guide me.
All of our dogs had been retired at that time except one...My Winnie.

Once again it had all started from a single dog.
It has been such a blessing to be able to continue this legacy and have the chance meet so many amazing people who share our love of dachshunds!
